It is a great privilege for me to watch and photograph animals in their natural habitats. It is combined with wonderful and intense moments in nature. It is my objective to tell their stories. To achieve this, I take close-up portraits, I capture their activities, interactions and emotions and I show their habitats.
Wildlife photography is one of the most difficult disciplines within photography. In particular, it requires a sound knowledge about animals, lots of patience, persistence and empathy. It also means mastering your equipment.
Wildlife photography is currently not a priority of mine. The galleries mostly include images of wildlife in the (sub)antarctic regions, captured between 2007 and 2014.
